Reliable since 1947

LAG Trailers has its head office in Bree, Belgium, and currently has a team of around 420 experienced professionals. LAG is characterised by its rich history and its founders, the Geusens brothers.

LAG Trailers was founded in the aftermath of World War II. This turbulent period inspired the brothers Lambert and Arnold Geusens to develop transport vehicles. They built the first trailer using surplus transport material from British and American soldiers. LAG was officially established in 1947.

With the oil business on the rise, the focus was on building fuel trailers. To give customers a competitive edge, Arnold Geusens gathered innovative ideas in the UK and America. The information gathered resulted in the first aluminium fuel trailer coming to Europe, to LAG. LAG quickly emerged as an innovative leader in the industry.

What started as a company with five employees has since grown into a solid business with around 500 employees spread across several countries.
