Gebroeders Crijns receives first Belgian LAG non-tipping silo trailer
Last year LAG presented its new non-tipping silo trailer at the IAA-business fair. After market introductions in its neighbour countries, it’s Gebroeders Crijns who will receive Belgium’s first new LAG non-tipping silo trailer.
European market introduction
LAG reintroduced the hopper during the last year on the German market. Even in France and the United Kingdom the new type hit the ground running. Companies like Cemex and Tip Trailers Service immediately put their trust in the Belgian supplier.
The frontrunner in the Belgian market is Gebroeders Crijns, they got a hold on LAG’s first Belgian trailer of this renewed type. Managing Directors Peter and Marc Crijns highlight the fact that both companies are collaborating for almost 30 years. ‘The hopper is a new milestone in our partnership. We obviously put a lot of trust in LAG and the product simply convinced us.’
Crijns will receive the 2019 model of LAG’s silo trailer. Next to improvements in the usability and a more aesthetic pleasing look, this version excels in its piping options, thanks to the modular building style.
A successful start
LAG delivered more than 70 non-tipping silo trailers since last autumn. In the following months extra 30 vehicles will be delivered to transporters in Europe.
CEO Rob Ramaekers is pleased with the first numbers: ‘As a ‘new’ player, we immediately achieved a sales number of 100 vehicles. That’s quite remarkable. Even more important is the positive feedback from our customers. We chose the right way. Now the focus is on further growth in this product category!’
